CIS 2336: Internet Web Development. In this course, I am learning to construct the base of a website using HTML and styling it with CSS. Later on in the semester, more functionality will be added to them with the tools from PHP, SQL, and Javascript. I usually work best by practicing what I learn, experimenting with concepts and applying it to things. I love to learn all the time and go more in-depth with whatever grabs my interest. This class is very practical and hands-on with learning the syntax and properties of the languages used for websites. These skills and knowledges are important because they give experience in using databases and familiarity creating websites. In the future, this can help me out with courses I need to take later in the CIS degree plan. Building these skills up can help me in my career in Information Systems and become knowledgeable in computers, networks, and other technology.
